THE GATHERING: South American Tour Dates Announced

January 8, 2007

Holland's THE GATHERING will embark on a three-date South American tour in late March. Confirmed dates are as follows:

Mar. 21 - Buenos Aires, ARG - El Teatro
Mar. 22 - Buenos Aires, ARG - El Teatro
Mar. 24 - Sanziago, CHL - Teatro Caupoloca

As previously reported, THE GATHERING's concert in Istanbul, Turkey, which was originally scheduled for November 23, 2006 and then pushed back to February 10, 2007, has once again been postponed. According to the band, "The venue took the date away from the promoter and gave it to a company for their corporate party." The group hopes to reschedule the concert for later in the year.

A video clip of THE GATHERING performing the song "Waking Hours" at the Paradiso in Amsterdam, Holland on September 19, 2006 has been posted online at Google Video. The complete live show is still available for streaming at Fabchannel.com.

THE GATHERING returned to the road in Europe last fall after they had to cancel the first month of their European "Homelands" tour back in April 2006 due to vocalist Anneke van Giersbergen suffering an obstinate bronchial and sinus infection.

THE GATHERING released its latest album, "Home", in April on The End Records.
